Meet Josh Smith

Hi, I'm Josh Smith and I was born in the Midwest, but moved to Breckenridge, Colorado at age 4 in the late 1970's, and then down to the Front Range in the mid 80's. I got married and moved to Parker in 2004 to start a family, relocated to Highlands Ranch in 2006 and have been here ever since. I have loved this community since then and so do my three amazing children. I love spending time with my family, whether it's movies with my kids, or lunches with my parents, but one of my hobbies I enjoy outside of time with my family includes golfing!

I built a career in the mortgage industry from 2006 to 2022, then stepped back to take time to spend with family. As of now I have found my next passion, and am now fully committed to becoming your next Douglas County Commissioner. I am new to politics, so I bring a fresh perspective along with my financial expertise. I look forward to serving you!
